David Pollack says SEC title game changes his confidence in preseason prediction

David Pollack before the season had a prediction that caused some Georgia fans to have mixed feelings.
The ESPN analyst and former Georgia star pass rusher said Georgia would win the national championship, but only after the Bulldogs lost to Alabama in the SEC Championship. After Pollack watched Saturday’s Alabama win over Georgia, 41-24, he is not as confident in that preseason pick.
I did say that but after that game today I can’t say I fully believe it. https://t.co/PteSCnbLad

Alabama QB Bryce Young was efficient and effective against nation’s top-rated defense as he passed for 3 touchdowns and ran for another as the Crimson Tide rolled over No. 1 Georgia 41-24.
If Pollack’s initial prediction rings true, Georgia will likely need to beat some combination of Michigan or Iowa to setup a rematch with the Crimson Tide in Indianapolis.
