Demarcus Riddick, 4-star 2024 ATH/LB out of Alabama, announces SEC commitment

Demarcus Riddick, a 4-star ATH/LB out of Clanton, Alabama (Chilton County) has announced plans to play in the SEC.
Riddick, who is listed at 6-foot-2 and 212 pounds, is the No. 2 linebacker in the class of 2024, according to the 247Sports Composite, and the No. 2 player overall in the state of Alabama. He has a reported 15 offers, including Arkansas, Auburn, Florida and Florida State. He was recruited to Georgia by Glenn Schumann.
Riddick is recruit No. 6 for Georgia in the 2024 class, and that group now ranks No. 1 by the 247Sports Composite early in the cycle.
“Demarcus has everything at linebacker,” GasCrew Elite founder Adrian Steele told 247Sports. “Crazy athletic. Can run with anybody, violent and he wants to win. Great kid as well from a great family. Really quality kid that will dominate at the next level. I think he’s one of the 10 best prospects in the country and he fits the new prototype at linebacker.”
