Georgia and Auburn will face off this Saturday for the 128th time in history. The game, known as the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry, is always a hotly-contested battle.
In the all-time series, the Bulldogs have 63 wins compared to the Tigers’ 56, with 8 ties. While the all-time series is neck-and-neck, it has been all Georgia of late. The Bulldogs have won 6 straight matchups against the Tigers.
Georgia DB Dan Jackson was recently asked about the Auburn rivalry.
It’s always a battle every time we go to Auburn no matter what,” explained Jackson. “Their fan base is a lot like ours. They’re going to bring it every Saturday.”

Jackson, a redshirt senior, has 10 tackles, 1 INT, and 1 forced fumble on the season. Jackson has not lost to Auburn in his college career.
The Bulldogs are on a 6-game winning streak in the rivalry, with the last 3 games in being blowouts in UGA’s favor. It will be interesting to see if the Tigers can keep this one close, especially after losing to Texas A&M last week.
