Georgia guard withdraws from transfer portal to stay with Bulldogs

After a month of having his name in the NCAA transfer portal, Jaxon Etter has decided to withdraw and remain at Georgia. The Bulldog guard shared the news Wednesday on social media.
Etter thanked new UGA coach Mike White for the opportunity to remain with the team after exploring his opportunities.

Etter joined UGA ahead of the 2019-20 campaign. In his first 2 seasons, he appeared in 29 games off the bench. In 2021-22, he played in 31 games, making 22 starts. As a junior, Etter averaged 5.1 points and 2.9 rebounds over 25.3 minutes per game.
According to Marc Weiszer of the Athens Banner-Herald, Etter joins Kario Oquendo, Braelen Bridges, Jabri Abdur-Rahim and Jailyn Ingram as members of the 2021-22 squad remaining with the Dawgs for the 2022-23 season.
