Jalen Carter has returned to Indianapolis for the remainder of the NFL Combine, according to a report.

That’s per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, who says Carter is back to “finish his interviews, measurements and other activities.”

The Athens-Clarke County Police Department issued a warrant for Carter’s arrest on Thursday in connection with the fatal car crash that took place in Athens, Georgia, on Jan. 15. Carter has been charged with 2 misdemeanors in relation to the crash.

Police announced on Wednesday they have evidence that Carter was racing the vehicle that crashed, which contributed to the accident. UGA recruiting staffer Chandler LeCroy was driving the other vehicle. LeCroy and UGA offensive lineman Devin Willock were killed in the accident.

In addition to racing, Carter has been charged with reckless driving. Carter returned to Athens on Wednesday and was booked at 11:33 p.m. and was released on bond shortly thereafter.

Carter said in a statement on Wednesday afternoon that he would cooperate with the legal process and believes he will be “fully exonerated of any criminal wrongdoing.”
