The Georgia Bulldogs took an early punch from the Florida Gators on Saturday, and then absolutely took over en route to the 43-20 win.

There were questions about how the Bulldogs would play without tight end Brock Bowers. He is one of the elite players in all of college football, and will be out 4-to-6 weeks because of an injury. The Bulldogs answered those questions on Saturday.

After the game, the Bulldogs celebrated with some of the fans who attended the game.

Quarterback Carson Beck has gotten better every week for the Bulldogs, and he delivered in a big way on Saturday. He finished 19-of-28 for 315 yards and 2 touchdowns. It is the 4th game this year he has thrown for at least 313 yards, and he didn’t throw an interception for the first time in 4 games.

Leading the way for the Bulldogs receivers was Ladd McConkey. He had missed the first few games because of a back injury, but he reminded the SEC and college football how good he is. He finished with 6 catches for 135 yards and 1 touchdown in the win.

After the game, Kirby Smart said keeping McConkey healthy is a huge priority for the team.

The Bulldogs will be back in action next week, as the host Missouri in a game with big-time SEC East championship implications.
