The name’s Bond. James Bond.

We wonder how many times Austin Peay senior DB James Bond has heard that one. Probably a lot, right?

Well, now that the Governors are playing the Georgia Bulldogs to open the 2018 season on Saturday, he’ll be hearing it from a new fanbase.

Bond played in eight games, including two starts, as a junior last season, recording 23 tackles. He has had success against SEC teams in the past, though, recording his only career interception as a freshman in 2016 against Vanderbilt.

However, the thing about James Bond is that he’ll always strike when you least expect it, so the Bulldogs will have to watch out on Saturday afternoon.
