Pat McAfee and the College GameDay crew celebrated a pretty incredible moment on Saturday on the Georgia campus, ahead of the Bulldogs’ massive game against Tennessee. UGA freshman Henry Silver perfectly nailed a 33-yard kick during the pregame show that would have probably been good from about 50.

Silver wasn’t originally supposed to attempt the kick, though: that honor was set to belong to Belle Sessions after winning a raffle, but she opted to let Silver kick it instead in her place. And the make won him $400,000 — set to be split with Sessions — along with $400,000 donated to hurricane relief.

It was truly an amazing moment for both Silver and Sessions, and for McAfee and ESPN as well. But that’s not the most amazing part. Apparently, it’s not the first encounter McAfee and Silver have had with each other.

Take a look below:

You can’t make this stuff up.

Considering McAfee’s last year in the NFL was in 2016, the photo in question is at least 8 years old. Fast forward to 2024, and the two met again, this time with Silver as the central figure of a moment that went viral across the Web almost instantly.

As McAfee said in his tweet, that’s wild.
