Georgia is adding a new defensive back this summer.
Dawgs247 is reporting that Tulsa DB J.R. Reed has signed with the Bulldogs and will enroll at UGA in August. He originally signed with Tulsa in 2014 and redshirted that season. In 2015, he recorded five total tackles and one pass breakup.

His eligibility status has not been officially addressed by the Bulldogs, but it is presumed Reed will have to sit out the 2016 season.
Reed, however, could help Georgia before the 2017 season. He is the cousin of coveted Loganville, Ga. product Deangelo Gibbs, a four-star cornerback ranked the No. 2 prospect in Georgia and No. 34 recruit of the 2017 class.
