Sony Michel secured a second Super Bowl ring in his career this past season. Now, he’s heading back to the AFC East with a new team.

According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Michel is reportedly signing with the Miami Dolphins. Michel will be added to a new-look offense for QB Tua Tagovailoa entering his third NFL season.

Michel entered the NFL as a first-round draft pick in 2018. Since then, he has rushed for over 3,100 yards with 18 touchdowns.

During the 2021 season, Michel was the leading rusher for the Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams. He finished the year with 845 yards rushing and four touchdowns.

With the notable offseason addition of Tyreek Hill, it will be interesting to see how Miami’s offense looks during 2022.
