The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set to interview Monken on Tuesday, according to NFL Network reporters Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo. Georgia’s offensive coordinator the past 3 seasons, Monken also recently interviewed for the OC position with the Baltimore Ravens.
#Georgia OC Todd Monken is interviewing for the #Bucs OC job tomorrow, per me and @MikeGarafolo. Monken is a strong candidate to take his old job with a new head coach.

Monken, who turns 57 on Sunday, was Tampa Bay’s offensive coordinator from 2016-18 under head coach Dirk Koetter. Todd Bowles will be entering his second season as the Bucs’ head coach in 2023. The club parted with Byron Leftwich as offensive coordinator after a playoff loss ended the 2022 campaign.
In 2019, Monken was OC for the Cleveland Browns before heading to Athens for a tenure that has included 2 national championships and QB Stetson Bennett being named a Heisman Trophy finalist.
