WATCH: Ryan Seacrest calls the Dawgs during show, leaving Kelly Ripa baffled

Popular TV host Ryan Seacrest is a Georgia native and briefly attended the University of Georgia before heading out to Hollywood.
However, it’s clear Seacrest still has an affinity for his old school, and that was evident on Monday when an audience member yelled out “Go Dawgs!” during the broadcast of “Live! With Kelly and Ryan.”
As you can see in the video below, Seacrest responded by calling the Dawgs, leaving co-host Kelly Ripa absolutely baffled:

Ripa clearly isn’t an SEC aficionado, but Seacrest clearly hasn’t forgotten his roots.
Now, we’ll have to see if this becomes a regular thing on Seacrest broadcasts.
