Jacob Toppin, Kentucky forward, announces plans for 2022 NBA Draft

Jacob Toppin, a key player off Kentucky’s bench this past season, is weighing his options for the 2022-23 season.

On Tuesday morning, Toppin took to Twitter to reveal that he was entering his name in the 2022 NBA Draft pool.

But, as you can see below, Toppin revealed that he plans to maintain his college eligibility throughout the draft process, leaving the possibility that he could return to Kentucky open:

Toppin appeared in 29 games for the Wildcats this past season, making 4 starts. He averaged 6.2 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists per contest.

We’ll see what feedback he gets from the NBA draft scouts and team executives and what he decides to do for the 2022-23 season.
