Kentucky baseball lands commitment from standout Cincinnati transfer infielder

Kentucky baseball made a notable addition to its 2024 roster with a transfer portal commitment on Friday.
After 4 seasons at Cincinnati, standout infielder Ryan Nicholson will use his extra year of eligibility at UK. The Louisville native shared the big news on his Twitter account.

Nicholson has been a multi-season starter at 1st base for the Bearcats. He has a .291 career batting average with 33 home runs and 115 RBIs.
Nicholson is coming off the best season of his college career. In 55 games (54 starts), he posted a .294 batting average and .607 slugging percentage, logging 16 home runs, 15 doubles and 41 RBIs. With the glove, Nicholson has a .992 career fielding percentage.
