Kentucky picked up commitment No. 21 for its 2017 class Wednesday afternoon, this one coming from three-star DE Jordan Wright.
Offensive coordinator Eddie Gran, who has a history of recruiting South Florida, secured the Fort Lauderdale, Fla. native’s commitment. Wright announced his decision on Twitter:
247Sports recruiting analyst Ryan Bartow tweeted “Maybe 1st time ever that #Kentucky goes into #Florida & beats out big 3 for a kid like they did for Jordan Wright.” The Dillard product had 31 offers, including Florida, Florida State and Miami.
