Kentucky has opened up an early lead on Florida at Kroger Field in the 1st quarter.

The Wildcats have been helped this year by steady performances by Ray Davis, who came into Saturday’s game having run for 5 touchdowns and 314 yards on 50 carries, averaging 6.3 yards per attempt. And Davis found himself in the end zone once more on a terrific effort as he dragged Gator defenders for the first TD of the afternoon, as you can see below:

The Wildcats are looking for a 5-0 start to the season as they have taken down Ball State, Eastern Kentucky, Akron, and Vanderbilt. But some bigger challenges are on the horizon: Florida kicks off a stretch of 4 games in a row against Top 25 teams, including No. 1 Georgia in Week 6. That said, if they win this one, Mark Stoops’ team could themselves be ranked when they travel to Athens to face the Bulldogs.

Kentucky vs. Florida can be seen on ESPN.
