The Tennessee Titans were one of the many NFL teams who made roster cuts on Sunday. It unfortunately means that some players will not be making the 2023 roster.
Out of the 5 players that the Titans waived on Sunday, one of them was former Kentucky TE Justin Rigg, per Jim Wyatt of the team’s official site. Rigg played for the Wildcats from 2017-2021.
Rigg was competing for a spot in the Titans TE room that included the likes of former Maryland TE Chigoziem Okonkwo. Tennessee also drafted Josh Whyle out of Cincinatti in this year’s NFL Draft.
