Former LSU RB Spencer Ware’s second stint with the Kansas City Chiefs has hit a bump in the road. Ware has been placed on injured reserve by Kansas City as part of the Chiefs’ roster moves ahead of the Week 17 regular-season finale.
Ware previously spent 2015-18 in Kansas City before signing with the Indianapolis Colts on April 30, 2019. His time in Indianapolis did not go as planned as he was placed on the physically unable to perform list on Aug. 2, 2019 after undergoing ankle surgery and then released by the team on Sept. 20, 2019. Ware signed with Kansas City again on Dec. 3, 2019. While with the Chiefs, Ware recorded 17 carries for 51 yards.
After his LSU career, Ware was originally drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in 2013. For his career, Ware has logged 357 carries for 1,631 yards and 11 touchdowns as well as 59 catches for 676 yards and two touchdowns
