Earlier this week, 4-star Nebraska linebacker commit Avery Roberts tweeted out what seemed to be some serious shade directed at LSU star running back Leonard Fournette.
Keith Miller of XOS Digital asked this question regarding Fournette to his Twitter followers:
What you gone do when this ?comes around the corner❓#DontSendMeYourWorkoutVideos pic.twitter.com/V8hlC7ESbO

Roberts quoted the tweet and said, “Same thing I would do to anyone else….Tell him good night and put him to sleep!” He then subsequently deleted the tweet, but not before it went viral.
Or before Fournette could see it.
Fournette sent Roberts a direct message and, instead of firing back with some shots of his own, took the high road and provided some advice for once the highly-touted prospect reaches the collegiate ranks.
Roberts took a screen shot of their conversation and tweeted it out, letting everyone know that everything is good between the two:

Moral of the story? Not all Twitter beef is real.
