Ja’Marr Chase now holds the Cincinnati Bengals single-season record for receiving yards.
Chase entered Sunday trailing Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson. In the first quarter of the Cincinnati-Cleveland game, Chase caught a 24-yard pass, making him the new Bengals record-holder at 1,455 yards.

With the Bengals’ postseason birth clinched, Chase looks to be taking it easy the rest of the game.

It’s especially impressive that Chase set the franchise record for all pass-catchers in his rookie season. Johnson was previously first and second with seasons of 1,440 and 1,432 yards. Chase certainly put the preseason “drop” concerns to rest.
