Ja’Marr Chase, Derek Stingley Jr. set to face off for first time professionally
Ja’Marr Chase and Derek Stingley Jr. are set to face off against each other for the first time as NFL players. Chase was questionable due to a back injury, but the receiver will be good to go and the duo will get to square off.
Stingley and Chase were teammates on the legendary 2019 LSU Tigers’ team that won the National Championship. The players are both Louisiana natives and played together in high school for a 7-on-7 team.
Chase leads the Bengals in every receiving category. The star wideout has 64 catches for 697 yards and 4 TDs. Stingley has only been able to play in 2 games this season while dealing with injury. The defensive back has collected 9 tackles on the season.
The Bengals are sitting at 5-3 while the Texans are sitting at 4-4 after winning just 3 games all of last season. The teams are slated to kick off from Cincinnati at 1 p.m. ET.
