A former LSU staff member is getting a promotion.

Joe Brady, LSU passing game coordinator in 2019, is being promoted to interim offensive coordinator after the Buffalo Bills fired Ken Dorsey. Brady previously served as the Bills’ quarterbacks coach and he was hired in 2022.

Brady has been in the coaching world since 2013 when he got his start as a linebackers coach for William and Mary, where he played college football. He has gone on to serve in several different roles in both the NFL and college football. Before his time with Buffalo, he was the offensive coordinator for the Carolina Panthers.

Dorsey’s firing comes after Buffalo’s Monday Night Football loss to the Denver Broncos. The Bills committed 4 turnovers in the loss, with Josh Allen throwing 3 interceptions, and the Broncos won on a game-winning field goal. Allen leads the NFL in turnovers with 13 and 11 interceptions.

The loss to the Broncos was Buffalo’s 5th loss of the season, and the Bills have struggled to find consistency on the offensive end this season.
