Les Miles called Holly Rowe 5-6 times to check on her during cancer battle
ESPN reporter Holly Rowe has been showered with support while in her second bout with cancer. LSU coach Les Miles was one of the first to do so.
According to a story by Sports Illustrated, Miles has kept close tabs on Rowe during her struggle.
“Les Miles found out earlier than most because I was at LSU for a game and let people know I would not be at Signing Day because of surgery,” Rowe said in the story. “He called me five or six times the day before Signing Day to ask when I was going in and what he could do. Just unbelievable sweetness.”
Miles also spoke with ESPN’s Marty Smith to give his well wishes to Rowe on ESPN on National Signing Day.
