LOOK: LSU offensive lineman rocks uniquely weird helmet vs. Florida

An LSU offensive lineman was wearing a rather… interesting… helmet during Saturday’s game at Florida.

Most helmets are just completely round around the edges. This particular brain protector appears to have edges that stick out like wings, or ears?

Could this unique helmet give the lineman an extra advantage? Could it provide enhanced aerodynamics? Who knows.

Either way, it’s kind of funny-looking:
