247Sports compares Miller to former Alabama standout Brandon Miller, who was selected by the Charlotte Hornets with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.
“Prospects who can handle, shoot, and pass off a live dribble the way he does at his size do not come around often,” Recruiting analyst Brandon Jenkins said.
Miller visited campus for LSU’s football opener vs. Grambling and came away impressed with the staff’s commitment to pursing him.
“Throughout the journey, they’ve been really consistent, proving to me that they wanted me to be a big part of their program and to come in day one and make a big impact,” Miller said. “I’ve always kept that in the back of my mind and pulled the trigger on it.”
