A Thibodaux (Louisiana) product, Lacy relocates to Baton Rouge after 2 seasons in Lafayette. This past season, as a sophomore, Lacy recorded 22 catches for 304 yards and a team-leading 6 touchdowns. As a freshman, he led Louisiana in all 3 major receiving categories with 28 receptions for 364 yards and 4 TDs.
Lacy’s commitment adds depth to a wide receiver room that had 5 members leave via the transfer portal. The Tigers return 6 scholarship wideouts and inked Mandeville standout Landon Ibieta during December’s Early Signing Period.
Kelly’s staff has made use of the transfer portal, with recent additions of Greg Brooks (Arkansas DB), Noah Cain (Penn State RB), Joe Foucha (Arkansas DB) and Mekhi Garner (Louisiana DB).
