Brian Kelly’s LSU staff has had a productive Thursday landing commitments from the transfer portal. Not long after Arkansas transfer defensive back Greg Brooks pledged to the Tigers, former Penn State running back Noah Cain announced his return to the bayou.

Cain tweeted his commitment to the Tigers.

A Baton Rouge native, Cain came out of the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida in the class of 2019. On the 247Sports Composite, he was rated 4-stars, the No. 6 running back and No. 98 prospect overall nationally. Cain signed with Penn State over 26 other scholarship offers.

Cain leaves Penn State after 3 seasons. In 2019, he rushed 84 times for 443 yards and 8 touchdowns. In 2020, his second season, he played in just 1 game due to injury. This past season, Cain logged 106 carries for 350 yards and 4 TDs. He also caught 19 passes for 114 yards.
