LSU picks up commitment from 4-star in-state 2023 running back

LSU has been busy on the 2023 recruiting trails, and on Sunday, the Tigers added player No. 5 to next year’s group of commitments.

This one, they didn’t have to go far to get, as a 4-star running back from Farmerville, Louisiana, committed to the team.

As you can see below, Union Parish RB Trey Holly became the latest LSU commitment, announcing his decision via Twitter:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Holly is the No. 10 running back in the class of 2023 and the No. 14 overall recruit from the state of Louisiana.

The Tigers now have 5 players in their 2023 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 14 in the nation and No. 5 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
