New LSU offensive coordinator Matt Canada is hoping to keep some high-profile juniors around for one more season.
Canada flew to Baton Rouge Wednesday evening to meet with a few players who are considering making an early jump to the NFL, head coach Ed Orgeron stated during his Thursday morning press conference.

O says Canada flew in last night and met with "a couple of" #LSU juniors. He's talked to juniors' families too.

It’s not for certain who exactly Canada met with, but we can assume it involved wide receiver Malachi Dupree, and possibly a few offensive linemen.
Continuity is an underrated strength for any team structure, and if Canada can sway anyone to stay for another year — and a potential national title run — it would be huge for the Tigers’ chances in 2017.
