Tre’Davious White, former LSU star, suffers achilles injury during Bills game
Tre’Davious White went down in Sunday’s matchup against the Miami Dolphins and had to be carted off the field.
The injury is to his achilles, but Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott informed media after the game that the injury is still being evaluated.
White has 9 tackles and an interception on the season.
White has already had to deal with his fair share of injuries since being drafted in 2017. In November 2021, White suffered an ACL injury that forced him to miss the remainder of the season and more than half of the 2022 season.
While it’s not clear how much time he will miss with this injury, it’s hard to see a player go through the recovery process just to have things derailed again.
“He’s been through a lot, and sometimes you wonder why things like that happen twice,” McDermott said in a post game press conference. “You watch how hard he’s worked to get back.”
White was a standout at LSU in college and was drafted 27th overall int he 2017 NFL Draft. He’s racked up 308 tackles and 18 interceptions across his career.
