Odell Beckham, Jr. had reason to celebrate Monday in the New York Giants locker room, and the star receiver let loose with his teammates.
According to Sterling Shephard’s Instagram story, Beckham and teammates are enjoying the finalization of Beckham’s new contract, reported by Ian Rapoport and Kimberly Jones of the NFL Network.
The deal is reportedly for five years and worth $95 million, with $65 million guaranteed, which makes him the highest-paid receiver in the NFL, Josina Anderson reported.
Beckham, 25, played in four games last season after he had season-ending ankle surgery. There was speculation entering training camp about a possible hold out if a contract extension wasn’t reached.
The three-time Pro Bowler made at least least 90 catches, with 1,300 yards and 10 touchdowns in each of his first three NFL seasons.
