Aaron Odom announced recently that he was leaving Mississippi State to explore his transfer options.
Well, it appears he’s reached a decision, as he took to Twitter on Monday afternoon to announce where he’d play his final year in 2022.
As you can see below, Odom announced on his Twitter page that he was transferring to Southern Miss for the upcoming campaign:
Thankful for all of the other schools that reached out and offered me opportunities. I for sure love my home state and I will be playing my last season with Southern Miss football! Odom recorded 17 tackles (3 for a loss) and 3 sacks for the Bulldog defense in 2021. He also had a forced fumble.
We’ll see how he fares at Southern Miss this coming season, but his presence will be missed along the Mississippi State defensive line in 2022.
