Class of 2022 quarterback Braedyn Locke announced Tuesday that he would be transferring from Mississippi State to Wisconsin. The former 4-star recruit out of Rockwall, Texas spent just one year in Starkville before entering the transfer portal in early January.
Locke did not play a snap for the Bulldogs and will have 4 years of eligibility remaining.

Locke was a strong recruit out of Rockwall High school, just outside of Dallas. HE was rated as the no. 22 quarterback in the Class of 2022 rankings, the No. 383 prospect in the nation and the No. 54 player from the state of Texas.
Mississippi State returns Will Rogers and sophomore Sawyer Robertson to a loaded QB room. Locke read that room and decided to move to where he could potentially see more playing time.
