Mississippi State is looking to improve on last year’s 7-6 record, and it is making some big additions via the transfer portal.
On Monday night, the Bulldogs scored a commitment from a former 4-star defensive back who transferred from Michigan this offseason.
As you can see below, Jordan Morant, a native of New Jersey, announced via Twitter that he was heading to Starkville for the 2022 season:

Morant didn’t see any game action as a freshman in 2020. In 2021, he appeared in 8 games for the Wolverines, mostly on special teams. He recorded 1 tackle.
He will try to work his way into a bigger role when he joins the Mississippi State squad for the start of fall camp.
