Jones is the fifth 2018 commitment for coach Dan Mullen and the Bulldogs, and all five commits are from the state of Mississippi.

According to 247Sports, Jones is the No. 92 cornerback in the class of 2018 and the No. 16 overall recruit from the state of Mississippi.

Jones was also recruited by Ole Miss, Louisville, Memphis and several other schools before committing to the Bulldogs. But, since he left his recruitment open, he’s likely to hear from several more before he graduates high school.
