Mississippi State loses defensive lineman to transfer portal, per report

Mississippi State’s defense has lost a few key players this offseason, both to the NFL Draft and the transfer portal.
On Thursday, another Mississippi State defender reportedly decided to enter his name into the portal.
Per Mississippi State insider Steve Robertson, DE Izuchukwu King Ani has decided to explore his options to transfer before the 2022 season:

King Ani appeared in 3 games for the Bulldogs this past season, recording 1 tackle. That came in the Nov. 20 game against Tennessee State.
King Ani was a 4-star player out of Nashville in Mississippi State’s 2019 class. He was the No. 24 defensive end in the class and the No. 12 overall recruit from the state of Tennessee, per the 247Sports composite rankings.
