Mississippi State was excited to land Michigan State transfer guard Rocket Watts ahead of the 2021-22 season.
But, after Watts returned from injury, he wasn’t able to recapture the form that made him a key contributor at Michigan State the 2 seasons prior to his year in Starkville.
Now, according to Matt Zenitz of On3 Sports, Watts has decided to enter the NCAA transfer portal once again:

Watts appeared in 19 games for the Bulldogs this past season, making one start. He averaged 4.4 points per game.
If he can get back to 100% ahead of the 2022-23 season, he could be an intriguing prospect for whatever team he ends up on next.
