Chris Shearin developed into a contributor on special teams during his freshman season at Missouri in 2019.
In 2020, he opted out due to COVID-19 concerns, but returned to the Tigers in 2021, playing sparingly as a backup in the secondary.
He entered the transfer portal after the season, and on Tuesday, he announced that he was heading to Connecticut to play for the UConn Huskies in 2022:

UConn is an independent squad that finished the 2021 season with a 1-11 record. Jim Mora will be the new head coach of the team in 2022.
