Cody Schrader for Heisman? Fans weigh in after long TD run from Mizzou star
By Adam Spencer

Cody Schrader came to Mizzou from Division II school Truman State. Did you know that?
If you’ve watched literally any Mizzou game this year, that point gets hammered home at least a dozen times throughout every broadcast.
It is an incredible story, though, as Schrader entered Saturday night’s game against Florida with the lead in the race for the SEC rushing title. He added to that total with a 41-yard TD run in the second quarter against the Gators to give Mizzou a lead:

As he continues to dominate at the SEC level, fans took to social media to call for Schrader to start getting some Heisman buzz:

It's crazy that Schrader isn't even being mentioned for Heisman. He needs to be in the conversation. Any other SEC running back would be recognized

Schrader has more than 120 yards on the ground and it’s only halftime at Faurot Field. He has been incredible this year, and he’ll need to keep piling on the yardage if the Tigers are going to win this SEC East matchup and snag win No. 9 on the season.
