Eli Drinkwitz addresses pursuit of a QB, movement along the OL as spring practice rolls on

Eli Drinkwitz and the Missouri Tigers held spring practice No. 6 on Tuesday, and the coach met with the media after the workout to update the team’s activities.
The offensive line has seem some shuffling because RT Hyrin White will miss rest of spring and summer with a lower leg injury, the coach announced. With White out, Zeke Powell is getting first-team reps at right tackle, while Mitchell Walters is also working there. Connor Tollison and Buffalo transfer Bence Polgar are competing for No. 1 center job.
And after it was rumored that Missouri was in the mix to land Arizona State transfer QB Jayden Daniels, who recently committed to LSU, Drinkwitz offered a QB update. Drinkwitz said Mizzou is not actively pursuing another quarterback, but isn’t actively “shying away” from finding another QB also. He also confirmed that the media won’t be talking to QBs Brady Cook and Tyler Macon this spring.
Truman State transfer running back Cody Schrader has “absolutely” earned a chance to be part of the mix this year. He earned his number (20) after Saturday’s scrimmage.
