Eli Drinkwitz details tough loss to Georgia, speaks on ‘self-inflicted wounds’

Eliah Drinkwitz opened his postgame press conference following Mizzou’s loss to Georgia with what every fan was thinking once the final horn sounded.

Addressing the self-inflicted wounds.

He’s not far off. Costly penalties cropped up at the worst moments. The Tigers just couldn’t hang on when the Bulldogs started to charge late.

The Tigers also missed Dominic Lovett in the second half. He left early and did not return in the second half, around when the Mizzou offense started to sputter.

Drinkwitz referenced the Tua Tagovailoa situation when talking about Dominic Lovett not playing in the second half.
