Eli Drinkwitz and the Missouri Tigers suffered an embarrassing loss at the hands of the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday afternoon in Columbia.
Losing to the Vols isn’t embarrassing in and of itself, but losing 62-24 absolutely is.
After an awful first half, fans were already calling for DC Steve Wilks to be fired. Things only got worse from there, as the Vols ran for a whopping 452 yards.
After the game, Drinkwitz was asked about potentially changing defensive coordinators. He said he hasn’t considered anything like that yet:
Eli Drinkwitz when asked about the possibility of a change at defensive coordinator: "I just stepped off the football field. I haven't considered anything like that."

Mizzou fans will be quick to note that Drinkwitz didn’t flat-out say “no.” So, there’s a possibility changes could be coming in Columbia.
We’ll see what happens next week against North Texas.
