Ennis Rakestraw Jr. has decided to run it back with the Missouri Tigers.
The defensive back decided to put off the NFL, and build on a strong 2022 season in which he was second in the SEC in pass breakups with 12. Rakestraw this year bounced back from a 2021 season-ending knee injury to win back his starting job.
Rakestraw this season finished the regular season with 35 tackles, 4.5 tackles-for-loss, and forced 3 fumbles. His 12 pass-breakups is second on the team and 25th in the nation.

Rakestraw’s decision came after Kris Abrams-Draine last week announced plans to come back to the Tigers next season. It also means Mizzou has 4 defensive players have confirmed plans to return next year, along with defensive tackle Jayden Jernigan and linebacker Chad Bailey.
