It has been a rough year for the Missouri Tigers, particularly on the defensive side of the ball.
The Tigers have had problems stopping the run and currently have the worst run defense in the FBS ranks, giving up more than 300 yards per game on the ground.
Now, the bad news continues. Per an announcement made on Wednesday, key CB Ennis Rakestraw is out indefinitely after he tore his ACL during Tuesday’s practice:

Rakestraw had 13 tackles and 2 pass breakups through the early part of the 2021 season. Last year, as a true freshman, he had 24 tackles, 1 sack and 6 pass breakups.
Now, the Tigers will rely even more on Tulsa transfer CBs Allie Green IV and Akayleb Evans.
