Mizzou lands commitment from former Clemson defensive back

Mizzou brought in a top-12 recruiting class under Eli Drinkwitz during the Early Signing Period. Now, the Tigers have turned their attention to the transfer portal.
Needing to rebuild its secondary ahead of the 2022 season, Mizzou has landed a commitment from a former Clemson safety.
As you can see below, Joseph Charleston took to Twitter on Tuesday afternoon to reveal he was transferring to Columbia:

Based on the lack of depth on the Mizzou defense this year, Drinkwitz and the Tigers will need to add some more help on that side of the ball via the portal.
But Charleston is a good start. He recorded 6 total tackles in 3 games for the Tigers in 2021. In 2020, he played in 10 games, recording 44 tackles (2 for a loss) and 2 pass breakups.
