Mizzou is primed and ready for a primetime outing to open the 2023 season this Thursday. Ahead of that matchup, the Tigers have announced their full uniform combination.

The Tigers will trot out to face South Dakota in Week 1 with a full blackout look in primetime. Mizzou revealed the all-black look, complete with black helmets, gloves and accessories to begin the season.

Missouri enters the 2023 season coming off of back-to-back bowl games under head coach Eli Drinkwitz. However, the Tigers finished 6-7 during the 2021 and 2022 seasons. The program would undoubtedly love to land at least one major upset this fall, especially after falling just short against eventual national champion Georgia a season ago.

One thing that is clear for the Tigers is that multiple quarterbacks will play early in the season. Drinkwitz recently confirmed Brady Cook and Sam Horn will each take reps in the first few games of the season before making a decision on the starter the rest of the way.

As for Thursday’s season opener, that game against South Dakota is set for 8 pm ET on the SEC Network. Hopefully Mizzou starts things off on the right foot with a win.
