Missouri DL coach Brick Haley will make more than his predecessor according to a report by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch’s Dave Matter.
While Haley’s contract has not yet been finalized, the school responded to a records request that Haley will make $400,000 this season. Jackie Shipp, who was fired after an altercation with a Tigers player on Nov. 19, made $385,000 last season in Haley’s position.
Haley is taking a notable pay cut. He made $495,000 last year as Texas’ defensive line coach. Haley joined Charlie Strong’s staff after six seasons of coaching defensive line at LSU (2009-14). Strong was fired by the Longhorns at the end of the regular season and is now at USF.
