Shortly after missing out on one Mississippi product, the Bulldogs got some good news on the recruiting front Tuesday when four-star RB Marcus Murphy announced his commitment to Mississippi State on Twitter.
Murphy, part of the 2018 class, appears to already have a jersey number in mind for when he arrives in Starkville.

MSU is one of only four SEC schools with multiple ’18 commits. The Bulldogs previously received pledges from four-star WR Malik Heath and three-star DT Emmit Gooden.
