LSU keeps adding to its commitments, the latest coming from Mississippi OG Saahdiq Charles, picking the Tigers over the in-state Bulldogs.

Charles, a 6-foot-5, 314-pound guard from Madison-Ridgeland Academy (Miss.), had previously narrowed his list down to LSU and Mississippi State. He becomes the fifth commitment landed by the Tigers’ staff in the last five days.

Four-star OT Austin Deculus got the ball rolling with a Friday announcement. Four-star WR Stephen Guidry and three-star FB Tory Carter both committed Saturday. Three-star SDE Aaron Moffitt made it four in four days with his pledge Monday.

The Tigers now have 12 commits for 2017, giving them 247Sports’ top class in the SEC and No. 3 nationally.
