Auburn is the latest SEC school to express interest in five-star Calabasas, Calif. CB Darnay Holmes, rated the No. 1 cornerback and No. 6 overall recruit of the class of 2017 in 247Sports composite rankings.

The Tigers, however, might be offering too late in his recruitment. Last month, Scout.com reported that Holmes narrowed his list to seven schools: Alabama, Arizona, Nebraska, Ohio State, Stanford, UCLA and Washington.
Holmes is spending Saturday at Nebraska’s Junior Day and plans to announce his commitment on his birthday, June 23.
